BBC America picks up UK "Gladiators"...

Here's the release.... I'm interested in seeing how they plan to edit the show to fit in more commercials mainly, since I've already watched the episodes....

It really is a better show, simply without Hulk Hogan.

Mmm. People were a bit sceptical at first but we quite liked it in the end - there's a second series coming, and Wolf is coming back as a "mentor" after the highly successful legends special (*).

And our Eliminator basically works.

(*) All it really needed was a chance to go "ooh, haven't they aged" and Wolf to have a fight with Oblivion and what we got was that and loads more.

True that...but there's no real Crush equivalent among the female UK Glads (Enigma and Inferno are close, especially Inferno, with  the "weapons" she has at her disposal...)
