You can also delete channels and games that you've downloaded from Wii Shop, and redownload them later for no charge.
Which is NOT a viable long-term solution. At ALL.

Nintendo stopped the bleeding with the whole okay-you-can-run-straight-from-SD-now thing, but ALL that is is a tourniquet. (ESPECIALLY since with no SDHC support the biggest SD card you can use is 2GB.) The patient is still badly wounded, and I think Nintendo has no clue at all how to fix it, so they're just gonna dance around with the smoke and mirrors until Wii Too ships.

(Fortunately for them, based on my interactions with hardcore Nintendo fans, most of them will suck it right up, so long as Miyamoto stands behind Reggie as he delivers the news and grins like an idiot.)

Where on earth did you read that you can run straight from SD?  That's not the format I use (copy from SD, then play from internal mem)?

If so, that's better.

Apparently the fix hasn't shipped yet. (This tells you how much action my Wii sees these days.) It came out of the same press conference where they announced the DSi. Scheduled to ship in Spring 2009.

Not much. But a little. The lack of SDHC support is biting them in the ass. (I gotta get some cheap 2GB SD cards while I still can.)

Yeah, they are saying Spring 2009.  Boo.

And you can get 4GB non-SDHC cards, and apparently they work (according to people on the web, here's a card

...with a goodly bit of pain-in-the-ass fudging, yes. Still not a good solution. At all.

Actually, they've announced that downloading directly to SD card is possible but not playing directly from them.  Source (Kotaku, I know, but other outlets have reported this).

//I won't get the current video game adaptation of Price.

They would be insane to allow downloading directly to a source that the product could not immediately be launched from. The tech support calls would drown them.

(Not saying you're wrong, and in fact some blogs have reported exactly that. That said, I trust video-game blogs even less than I trust Wikipedia.)
I actually don't have any gs games on my 360 (Gee thanks a lot Sony >_>), so this will be a welcome addition.
Why don't you have any game show adaptations on your 360?  There are no game show games for the 360.

Hopefully 1 vs. 100 will be available shortly after the new XBox Live Experience launches in 3 weeks...

On XBox Live Arcade instead as a tangible disc.  I didn't know that...not that I'm clamoring for a video game to tell me that I am smarter than a 5th grader.

/Wouldn't mind snagging the easy Gamerscore points.

Yes. Not sure why that's relevant.

First, because it's not a release which would be found in stores, to clarify for people who think "shipped" means "shipped to stores, available for purchase at video game retailer of choice."  Second, price.  The pricepoint for the Wii version of the new 5th grader game is $30.  Looking at XBox.com's page, it's $15/1200 XBox points.

...which it doesn't, and I don't feel obligated to dumb down my language for a few semantic freaks.

Yes. Isn't digital distrubution great?

The vibe I got is that you were regarding it being released on XBLA as a negative thing, and I'm pretty sure you don't think that way.
