Before anyone else gets their panties wadded, be really really honest: if you were on Donnymid *today*, in the Winnar's Circle, and you hadn't found a rusty butter knife to plunge through your temple yet, and Barack Obama's Friggin' Tie comes up in the $100 box (so help me God if anyone says "there weren't $100 boxes on Donnymid!" I will flood your mailbox with facepalms): is that not how you would word the clue? There might be people out there who are politically unaware (unlikely, but stay with me) and don't know who's the Dem and who's the GOP candidate, but *everyone* knows which one is the black guy.

Toetyper's a lot of things (funny is none of them), but I don't necessarily think he's a racist.

As a black guy myself, I didn't find anything racist at all about toetyper's clue. For the exact reason Chris stated, that's exactly the clue practically verbatim I'd give in the Winner's Circle. I hate how people are so quick to throw the yellow flag out there as soon as something that might possibly maybe perhaps slightly conceivably be offensive to someone pops up. Let the offended parties speak up for themselves and stop trying to play PC cop.

Chris said no one would necessarily know the party candidates, but I believe if you add the year in it has to turn a light on somewhere, no?
