A nice, 10 minute interview with the host.

Bob "came on down" to an interesting vamp of the TPIR theme... it actually sounded closer to one of the prize cues used in the early run of TPIR.

Bob mostly spoke of his work with elephants and also his pet rabbits. TPIR was mentioned briefly along with a few clips. Bonnie did not ask Bob about Drew's version. Bonnie also showed an early photo of Bob and Dorothy Jo.

His first words was the usual "I wish I had a refrigerator for all of you" Bob mentioned being asked all the time if he misses the show, and he responds "What I miss most is the money"

One of the things I noted from seeing Bob's last show live was it was "business as usual". He didn't seem maudlin in the least about that show being his last. I think it's exactly what he wanted.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

Shows to me, at least, that his final years on the show were completely self-serving.

I do it because it pays the rent. I don't think it's fair to judge a guy just because he said "I liked getting paid to work."

Appearing before a live audience on a national television program, you don't suppose he could have been going for a joke, do you?

Hint: Did the audience laugh when he made that statement?

Preposterous. Bob Barker is a demon spawned in the fiery pits of hell by Satan and Amy Winehouse. You should know that.

Ya know, when I first read the header to this thread, it sounded more like something that would be more appropriate in the dressing room...
