  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.
The Price is Right
« on: November 20, 2008, 04:50:09 AM »
While back home this week, I went through some old stuff.  I came across a piece of cardboard that says "THE PRICE IS RIGHT" CREDIT CARD on it.  The expiration date is 12/07; just like one used on the show.  Here is a scan of said card, resized to make it smaller.

Unfortunately, I have no idea how this came across this piece of merchandise.  Were they mass produced?  Is it a prop from the set?  If someone could clear this up, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

That is a Credit Card used for the pricing game of the same name.

I never did understand if there was initially a decision to allow contestants to keep their credit card (ala the "manual version" - Check Game), but they were most assuredly mass produced.  I know I saw a big box of them several years ago.

Several probably got out on eBay or whatever.

I escaped the studio with a complete Credit Card...green side and pink side (like what Modor has).
