ABC to revive "Superstars"...

It's a little different format-wise... I could see a possible Wipeout/Superstars pairup in the summer- or maybe even a Wipeout/Superstars/I Survived a Japanese Gameshow trifecta...

(Though the celeb/athlete combos are going to be key- they have to pick celebs that might do reasonably well in the different events. If I'm the casting director? My first call goes to Jason Sehorn and Angie Harmon- it would be interesting because of the husband/wife pairing, Angie probably is at least decent athletically, plus there would be a connection to the original series; Sehorn won the original Superstars 3 years in a row in the late 90's)
