NBC has already chosen his heir- Nick Cannon. Nick...Cannon. This is gonna be interesting, to say the least.

That's the television network featuring four hours of the Today show, one soap opera which is on the brink of cancellation, NBC Nightly News, two hours of comedy/drama/reality programming followed by four interchangeable talk shows (as of September). David Sarnoff has got to be projectile vomiting in his grave----no small feat for a dead skeleton who would have been 118 years young on the 27th of this month. SLURP!

Nick Cannon may be a singer, a dancer, & an actor.  Naturally, he'll fit right in there.  The only thing that concerns me is the slight risk NBC's taking here by acquiring Cannon.  Sure he may get the "younger" audience, but some of the older viewers might be bewildered by him appearing on that show even though he's only 28.  We'll see how America responds to that move.  For now, I'm sorta impartial to it.

He may be a floor wax, a desert topping and a dust mop.

They go through hosts like people changing their boxers. 3 years and 3 hosts, at least Feud could keep a host for 2 or more years.
