According to the celebrity listing on xanfan.com they appeared together in March, September, November 1985.
[/quote]

Some quick arithmetic shows that the episodes are the September week. Most likely, GSN has leased the episodes from September 1985 through 1986. This should be interesting.

Jeopardy, after the conclusion of the Ultimate Tourney of Champs, jumps ahead a bit to the start of the 2005-06 season. Why GSN has this phobia about leasing episodes of Jeopardy more than 4 years old is beyond me. (That's not to say they won't *run* older episodes - those 1997-98 shows were still hanging on well into 2005. But they *were* 4 years old when *leased*).

Also to note: The Hollywood Squares episodes are starting from season one of the Whoopi/Bergeron episodes.
The airings of 3:30 am Password are indeed the color episodes starting in '66.

Very cool on both! The school where I work is on spring break, so I might check out a Password episode or two.

Somewhere at home I have some first season HSq...might have to unearth them...

I was hoping that HS would be from the Peter Marshall era, I should've known better. OTOH, the Password and Pyramid eps coming to GSN are something I'm waiting to see.

I've kinda wondered this myself...especially since they're more than willing to show older Wheel episodes.  I'd love to see the '80s episodes (Chuck Forrest, Frank Spangenberg) or even the mid-90s (pre-"Sushi Bar" set) episodes again.

Is it cheaper to lease more current episodes than older ones?  Otherwise, the only conclusion I could come up with is that viewers won't recognize Alex with a mustache...;)

They really need to dig up the ol' Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour, but punch it up with a new opening.

Gene Rayburn requested that those episodes never air.

Ha!  Erik made a funny!  An actual honest-to-mawg, laugh out loud, with-him-not-at-him funny!

Seriously, bro, that was perfect.  You win.  I am 100% serious.  That was quality, quality snark.  It truly was.

We got a nice surprise from both "The $25,000 Pyramid" and "Hollywood Squares", less so for "The $100,000 Pyramid".

Okay, I'll be the first one to express a little disappointment at where they're starting the $25K run, so aim your tomatoes here. I was hoping they'd start closer to where they left off 10 years ago, which was two weeks before the Shelley Smith/Bill Cullen week in October of 1983. USA never aired that week, and most of the gaps in my collection are from that week till December of '85. (Thank you very much, USA golf preemptions!) I was also hoping that they'd show different episodes from other parts of the run late at night instead of just rerunning the daytime episodes. Still, though, any Clark "Pyramid" is better than no Clark "Pyramid." Hoorah!

Also, I am going to deduce that the 3:00am "Feud" airings are the beginning of the Dawson syndie run..The first episode is labeled "77-01"...

OTOH, I don't think I've ever seen this portion of the $25,000 Pyramid...so it'll be something to watch for sure.

Enjoy it...IMO, Pyramid was at its prime between 1984-86.
