Uncle Bill was really sorry to see this show go. He would go on to host Hot Potato and The Joker's Wild, but this would be the last Goodson show he hosted. The first was in 1946 on the radio. A heck of a long working relationship - 37 years.

Out of any shows he hosted, this is the one that he always loved to recall when they did game show blooper specials or anything like that until he retired from the biz.

The one thing I'm looking out for is that on the last show, they showed clips of kids defining who HE was. For some reason, though, I fear GSN will cut it out and go straight to the Turnabout.

Opening odds are set at 12-1 for seeing those clips. Place your bets.

On what basis do you harbor this fear?

I know the clip was on Kris' now defunct site, but I know from what I've observed in the past that in their effort to keep the shows down to 20 minutes flat to fit more ads and credit cuts in, any insignificant part of the show that can be cut will be cut.

And I'm not trying to make a point that they shouldn't be running their business with all the ads and stuff. It's there, we accept it, we deal with it because it has to be there. All I'm saying is that it would be nice if they'd leave stuff like this in once in a while. The usual preaching to the choir stuff.

I don't get what made Brian think they would delete that segment, because they just showed it.

I was gonna lay $5 and collect the next time I was in Saddle Brook. Oh well, my loss. :)

And for those of you wanting to get the first episode on magnetized bits before GSN yanks it by recording today's episode...forget it.

True, but if memory serves from reading the PDFs, Tara Reid's one of the kids today.  So it may still be worth having.
