Perhaps, but they're gonna love his nuts.

He's gonna have to literally batter them to keep them off of him.

On a different note, I'll bring up Marc Summers as usual, if only for his work on "What Would You Do?"  He fits the audience participation role well.

The Alton Brown idea isn't bad, but my worries are two-fold:  A) He's better suited as the Hattori role on ICA, but he has to be both Fukui-san and Hattori-san.  B) I don't know if he'd want the role.

Throw my votes in for aforementioned Bob Goen and George Gray.

I'll also toss in a new name: Bil Dwyer. Sure, it's a long shot, but I was very pleased with his job on the new IGAS, and I think he's got the right attitude and charisma to do a show such as LMaD, which, IMHO, shouldn't have a host so over-the-top and caffeinated when the format, itself, and the contestants are supposed to be anyway. He'll keep the show moving but let the contestants get their 15 minutes of fame in, I'd like to believe.

I'm gonna go off the board with someone else: JD Roberto.
On Shop Til You Drop, we really didn't get to see the REAL JD I think. I've seen him do TPIR Live, and he was absolutely brilliant. LMAD is similiar to TPIR, as we've pointed out. IMO, he has the charisma, sociability, and excitement to host a show like LMAD. He needs a show that lets him be more hands on and move around, rather than a boring show where he's standing behind a podium the whole time.

Guillermo Huesca.

He proved himself with Trato Hecho.  He's hosted the show.  He knows how it works.

Oh that's great. Since we're now including people that MOST of the U.S have never heard of, I'll submit my name then. And what, the hell, Chris Lemon's name too.... I'd enjoy that tremendously.

Huesca is a silly suggestion, but that should take nothing away from the fact that he did a dynamite job hosting Trato Hecho, miles ahead of anyone else who has recently attempted to helm the format.  (see also: Bush, Billy)

How about Montel Williams? It seems to me he's been considered for game shows before, and he's sharp enough to handle the format.

Or there's Donny Osmond. If nothing else, this would keep him away from the "Pyramid" revival in the other thread.

But you let Vince Shlomi and Jimmy Pardo fly?  No one outside the board knows who Jimmy Pardo is.  Jimmy Pardo isn't sure who he is.  As for Shlomi, unless he's got "the Sham Wow guy" attached to his name at all times, he just another pedophile looking freak.

Anyway, your name and Chris's name don't sound as sexy as Guillermo Huesca.

I can't speak to Jimmy Pardo, but Vince Shlomi is destined to be a broadcasting legend, and anyone who disagrees with that assessment is merely showing their ignorance of the television industry.

Do you mean like "This is the CBS Evening News and here's Vince Shlomi."  If so, then I completely agree.

I was thinking something along the lines of "And now here's the star of The Price Is Right, Vince Shlomi" or "Vince Shlomi, and the CBS Orchestra." But you get the idea.

I don't know about Marc Summers. When I saw him at the Atlantic City Price in 2005, he seemed a little stiff in the format.

I'm intrigued by Alton Brown coming up. I would have never thought of him, but he could actually work.
