Syndie Deal in the ATL

I saw a montage of GS promos from the Atlanta area, and was surprised to see DoND at 4:30 on WXIA 11 Alive, then at 6:30 on WATL MyATLtv. Two questions come to mind:

1. Is this a case of spiltting the double run across two stations?

2. Is there, or has there ever been a market that aired the same show on two different stations at once?

New York, as I've beaten into the ground...
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

I thought Atlanta wasn't a fan of game shows? :)

Grrrr.

Is there anything that *doesn't* set you off? Are we supposed to document and archive every thing you mention here? (Personally, this is the first time I've heard you mention New York in regard to the OP's question)

1: Yes.

2: Many times. In fact, the WXIA/WATL combo itself split Merv Griffin's Crosswords between the two stations last year. Happens a lot with duopolies and LMA's.

Uh, that was uncalled for. And under false pretenses.

The reason why I said that is I'm sure there are several users here who are sick of me making that point (as I have beaten it into the ground numerous times, admittedly).

Self-deprecation does not equal snark.

Speaking of NY, did the J!/Wheel split airings change recently? The pair used to be on from 6pm-7pm on Channel 10, then 7-8 on ABC, however, the Channel 10 airings seem to have vanished from that slot.

They moved back an hour and traded spots with Dr. Phil.

Been that way since I wanna say September, but for some reason I think it happened while the summer reruns were airing.
