Documentary on Monty Hall's Tailor
« on: May 09, 2009, 11:53:53 AM »
The documentary Jack Taylor of Beverly Hills was released (limitedly, as most docs are) back in 2007, but it makes its way to DVD this week.  And yes, he was tailor to a lot more folks than Monty Hall, I just wanted to get your attention.  He's called "The Man who Dressed the Rat Pack", and at age 93, he's still working.

For those of you who came of age watching TV in the seventies, the contemporary interviews include Monty, Jan Murray (in what must have been one of his last interviews), Hal Linden and Mike Douglas.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

If the $25KP revival happens, I hope the writers don't hear about this guy. I don't want to see:

If you see that, it won't be a revival of The $25,000 Pyramid, it will be a revival of Donnymid, and it will suck balls.

Is there any hope at all that he was also Rip Taylor's tailor?

Prepositional phrases. :)

Donnymid excluded, weren't prepositional phrases allowed on the "WHAT --- SAYS" categories?

/Yes, I know he was joking.

Monty Hall's tailor, not Milton Berle's.
