Hmmm. I knew that CBS liked Drew Carey a lot to make him host of their premiere game show, but I wasn't aware of their confidence of his producing.

I wonder how long before he's executive producing Price is Right like Barker used to?

Yes, I hear you. 'What makes you think he isn't doing it now?'

A return of "Whose Line," anyone?
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

He's been the executive producer for a good while already.  He sure as hell isn't doing it "like Barker used to," though.

Good idea but isn't the format owned elsewhere? CBS would have to be paying someone for it.

That's for sure. For one, the models remain unporked and there seems to be less legal action.

I'd believe the check would go to Hat Trick Productions (creators of the format), and possibly Warner Bros. Television.

I think Drew owned Green Screen, the sequel -- Hat Trick doesn't seemed to be listed on IMDB.  Maybe he'll give it more than a half hour to come up with a variation along those lines.

No. Screw that.

"Unporked" = word of the year. So far, of course :)
