I saw my aunt today, who recently attended a taping of The Price is Right on June 4th (specifically, the later taping). She told me about the whole experience, and how she absolutely hated waiting in line for 4 1/2 hours, but the last part of her story caught my attention: they filmed a Let's Make a Deal audition right after the taping, using the Price set. Monty Hall was present and took questions from the audience.
She couldn't remember the name of the person who auditioned; she did tell me it was somebody from the Fox News Channel, and that this person was "really bad".
The only person on Fox News Channel that I could ever imagine hosting a game show would be Steve Doocy of the Fox & Friends morning show. Steve did local TV back in Washington, D.C., I think if memory serves me right, he worked for many years on the NBC affiliate WRC-TV 4 and after being let go there, I think he ended up at the FOX affiliate WTTG-TV 5 for a little bit before dropping off the radar and eventually getting on cable TV.
From what I remember of Steve, he was pretty funny and quick witted back in his local TV days, I know I at least remember him that way.
I just don't think I can come up with anyone else @ FNC that would have the cohones to attempt a game show.
