What did Cosby say at the end of YBYL?
« on: August 05, 2009, 02:31:30 PM »
I have this vivid memory of Bill Cosby's always ending "You Bet Your Life" with some bizarre comment.
Can anyone remind me what he said at the close of the show?

Thanks very much! - Jan

The only one I remember is "Lightning never strikes twice...unless it's a Jehovah's Witness."
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

It changed from day to day. Always started with "Until next time, REMEMBER:" The only one that I can remember verbatim was "It is always better to win the Big Fella than to receive parting gifts."
