Well, Twentieth Television is the one working on the syndicated show. The phrase "As part of the deal, CMT and Twentieth will work together to produce themed episodes of the series" would make me think it refers to a current situation, along with "will premiere as a daily strip on CMT on Monday, Sept. 21," which I THINK would be its syndication debut date.
This is certainly interesting. It reminds me of the way the Wendy Williams Show airs nightly on BET after a broadcast in nationwide syndication. It's even more interesting when you remember that MyNetworkTV will also air the program in primetime
Tuesday nights.
