Greg Proops sure fits the bill. looks like a nutty scientist. It will be on Science channel at 9pm on 10/17.

TV Guide had a small feature on it in this week's issue.  Apparently Whoopi Goldberg is executive producer.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about it being a real science quizzer.  Expect goofier stuff about using bugs as medicine, and jumping your car battery with red wine.  "Did you know?" kinds of things.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

I noticed that when i saw the ad a second, third time, etc. It seems more like something for Comedy Central. Maybe in the same category as "Win Ben Stein's Money". Then again, WBSM had a pretty good following imho. Yeah the Whoopster is on the ad, still has them dreads she had on Bergeron Squares.

I almost forgot, Proops is the third person from "Whose Line" to have a game show gig. Carey, Brady, Proops. When will Mochorie have a hosting gig?

Correction: Proops was the second Whose Line alum to host a game show - Brad Sherwood hosted the first season of the '96 Dating Game revival (and later The Big Moment on ABC in '99, just prior to WWTBAM's debut). Proops hosted Vs. on Comedy Central in the spring of '98, and Brady and Carey didn't get their gigs until much later.

I actually had tickets to see Head Games, but a heavy work schedule forced me to cancel. I'll probably tape the first show.
