Unless I can pull a $1000+ winning scratch-off lottery ticket or Powerball ticket between now and the 6th, I'm SOL.  But darn it, I will shoot for 2010 if there will be one.

Lots of pending RSVPs still not ready to be announced, but you can count on Betty White, Tom Kennedy and the most successful creator of all time, Bob Stewart to be there and approachable.

After the awards ceremony, the hottest ticket is the Saturday night presentation by Tom.

Well I was going to go, but I found out my sister's performance in her school's rendition of Chicago is that weekend and if I skip that then lets just say any stories you read about my death being a suicide is false. LOL
If anyone can send me notes from the acing an audition workshop, I'd appreciate it.

Spoke with Tom Kennedy who's got his presentation set for Saturday night. I'm looking forward to seeing this, and looking forward to talking about Johnny Olson with his many friends and fans.

Did you know that Tom Kennedy's mother was a fan of Johnny's? Tom remembers the smile on his mom's face while she enjoyed listening to Johnny's biggest radio hit "Ladies Be Seated". Nice  ;-)

The brightest mind in games (TPiR, TTTT, Password, etc) will be on hand for the awards ceremony as Betty White accepts for Allen Ludden, Sunday. See ya there!

Better excuse: I'm heading down for a Wheel contestant cattle call in Jacksonville that weekend. (I was kidding about the money thing, obviously. But hey, I live in Michigan, where the unemployment rate is over 100%.)

Some more specifics are being finalized - thought I'd share for those interested.

Betty White, Geoff Edwards, Tom Kennedy, Bob Stewart and David Michaels will all be speaking at the awards reception on Sunday - Steve Beverly (Da Prefessa) and I will be hosting. There will be great video of our honorees, and a special video cut for the occasion by a huge NY game show host / TV star(!)

While some appearances are still being confirmed, expect to see some of your favorite panelists / celebrity players in da house! Come if you can, meet some legends, and we'll talk about Johnny Olson! More info to come!
