I miss that show for a lot of reasons.  To me, it was (and remains) the most easily accessible of any of the poker shows.

They lost me when they downgraded the resident Phil from Gordon to Hellmuth. Other'n that, just a great, great show.

Agreed. And what was even more pathetic was that Hellmuth was actually doing everything in his power to be polite. Even Gordon would occasionally throw out the old "Oh! He did NOT just do that!"

Because...it was no longer getting ratings sufficient to keep it on the air at a profit?

I dunno, it's a crazy idea, maybe I'm not thinking it through.
