Good question.  Can they switch off for the different segments?

Oh, I'm sure there'll be a lot of "switching off" going on!

On a serious note, it will be interesting to see if this week of shows clears all markets.

I'm not following...Newlywed is on GSN, so would a cable system be able to prevent the show from airing, considering airs on basic cable?

Sure, they could make the local GSN signal mysteriously go black, or be replaced by a test pattern, or by TBN for half an hour.

But I have a feeling none will bother.

My bad. I was thinking NG is syndicated -- duh!

Where I live I can pick up GSN if I plug the cable into the special adapter card in my Apple II.

Apparently there was a report less than a month ago that he had accused her of spousal abuse.[/quote]When she hit him in the back, he sang, "Girl, look what you've done to me . . ." and then said, "How about the flip side?"

I'm really happy that George Takei is actually experiencing a popularity surge after he came out. It must feel really great to be able to live your life publicly for the first time and be embraced more than ever (see also Neil Patrick Harris...who will do a wonderful job at the Emmys)

You know what I find interesting (and similarly satisfying) is that since he's come out, he's been significantly more, well, flamboyant. Which is great; I can't imagine how it must have been to have to suppress that in public. So it makes me smile a little when I see him on TV being who he is instead of who he felt he had to be.
