Dick DOES NOT deserve to have this blot in his career thrown back in his face! I, for one, intend to boycott this film if it ever runs where I live. And if you were in my place, you'd do the same. Yes, he made some mistakes; what celebs didn't?
They were by no means "mistakes". They were shrewd, calculated moves by a cunning businessman. He knew exactly what he was doing every step of the way. I'll leave it to others to judge the ethicality of his business practices at the time.
No you don't. You weren't going to see it anyway, if it was an "anti-Dick" film, so you can't boycott something you weren't going to do in the first place.
It only took you nine minutes to attempt a decapitation.

I'm semi-impressed.

I'm almost impressed at your ability to make no sense at all.
I cannot believe it either.  This is completely ridiculous on the fact that they are degrading a person who has been around longer that we all have.  What is the point?
That Dick Clark is an interesting person whose life is worth looking at? Or don't your Rainbow Books have a section on that?
Yes, he made some mistakes; what celebs didn't? Even the Winkster had his share of setbacks.....
I don't think anyone has lived mistake-free. That isn't the point. I know that if my life were to be profiled, there are some things that I'd rather were left out.

/Not the time that I lowered my trousers in front of President Johnson to show him my bullet scar, though. That was awesome.

Yeah, don't.

/You don't know the Felix Ungar sinus noise?

//One of my neighbors is the guy who introduced his pal Jack Klugman to Brett Somers.

///Clementson seldom misses and opportunity to drop a name.

////Clue: Read the thing that made me make the Felix Ungar sinus noise.

I thought the moderators would be more interested in good content than perfect grammar. Especially something that can be easily overlooked.

In regards to the sinus noise, this clip should have it (but I can't be sure: I'm in class with the sound off).

In regards to grammar, some people view contraction confusion akin to genocide. Myself, I don't care, but no one asked me.

In regards to game shows… um, I think Golden-Road members attacked Drew for using a split infinitive, but I can't verify.

Really? I have to explain my remark to you?

You metaphorically tried to take Winkfan's head off (as many do around here), and you did it in only nine minutes from the time of her posting.
