A ridiculously dumb list, indeed.

http://www.realtvaddict.com/2009/10/21/tv-game-shows/

/Half that list doesn't even deserve to be there.
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

If all we're going to do is slam these lists and talk about how bad they are, why even bother to post them?

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

Funny, that.  Family Feud is rather intolerable in its current form and the only other two shows I find enjoyable are Family Double Dare and Legends.  The lot of them are indeed dumb.

Agreed. It's interesting to see what certain bloggers think is the worst, and how often it clashes with what we think is the worst. (Freakin' Feud? Seriously? Legends of the Hidden Temple?! And no Set for Life?!)

In SFL's case, it could be argued that some shows are so bad that --mercifully-- they don't even have a chance to register on the public consciousness.

I don't think you understood my comment. I'm on Chad's side. "Hey, here's another poorly-researched, crappily-written list" is not news.

Yes, but when you only list of three words, it's hard to tell where you're coming from. Could you please elaborate on "intrigued, ideas, newsletter, etc."?

Not disagreeing with your first point, Chad, but define "common" in this context since it's apparently missing in the conversations that I have with co-workers, work acquaintances and friends.

"Common" in this context means "it's a common Internet meme." Clearly you, your co-workers, your work acquaintances, and your friends need to watch The Simpsons more. :)

Why? It's sucked since 1998, it's just that almost nobody wants to admit it.

/didn't care much for it before then either
