Catch Phrase & Tic Tac Dough questions.
« on: October 21, 2009, 05:05:30 PM »
Hi.

On the U.S. version of Catch Phrase, what was the name of the program used to create the puzzles and other graphics on the computer?  And was the randomizer SFX, used for stopping the squares from flashing, generated by a computer program?  If so, what was the name of it, and were the other SFX used on the show generated the same way?

And on Tic Tac Dough, was the category SFX generated by the Apple II/Altair system?  If so what program did they use?

Thanks much in advance,
Chris

I believe the shuffle on Tic Tac Dough sound effect was a cart. That sound effect was also recycled for the Bullseye pilot, Break the Bank, and Strike it Rich.
