For what it's worth, I read it the same way John and Rollercoaster did (although the "pure unadulterated curiosity" line does make more sense now)...and the snipe about John not being Dale really didn't help to clear it up.

With a couple thousands members here, I didn't realize that you were addressing Dale specifically since you did pose your response publicly (which generally on a message board, draws public response).

I had no intentions of enticing you to start a catfight, but apparently you were looking for one anyway.

C'mon John, why not just admit that you're wrong and 'fess up to it? Though I've often disagreed with your views on things, I have a good deal of respect for you. I'd hate to think you were using Barker as your mentor when it comes to admitting an error.
