So I'm watching GSN this morning and they're "Coming Up Next" bumper came on. Right now, I was watching "The Feud" w/ Ray...Coming up next, "The $25,000 Pyramid" (10:30AM) followed by CATCH-21?!?! (11:00AM). When did "Catch-21" start airing in the morning and would it be safe to assume that "Love Connection" was just filler till this sudden switch (at least for me it was sudden).

Today is the first day of this change. One other change is that at 10:00pm, 1 vs. 100 will be airing now instead of Millionaire and Lingo.

Not only that, they were still promoting LC late last week.

Order of preference (top to bottom):
1. the LC promo with "I realized just how bald he was"
2. the DOND promo with "You have no idea, people"
3. having root canal done
4. the promo where the guy asks if you've got a minute and tells you about Bingo Blitz
(2-3 are actually pretty close.)

Here I thought I was the only who despised that promo. Almost as much as I used to hate the "Oh, Alfonzo, you're such a card" ad.

I perish the thought that GSN's scheduling is going to start resembling that of Hallmark. Where they throw sh*t at a wall and two weeks later give it the ax when it isn't pulling the numbers (or the "right" numbers) that they want.

It almost seems that we're at that point already. Since PYL was pulled at the end of March, they have aired 4 different shows in the 11:30 AM slot since (25K Pyramid, Whammy!, Super Password, and now Wheel), and 4 shows have aired at 11AM since LMAD was pulled in May (Bingo America, SP, Love Connection, Catch 21).

Fox Reality was doing the same thing for awhile, and you see where it got them.
