"Unstapled"?

Really?
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

There was once a punk band in Southern California called "The Fat Chick From Wilson Phillips." No joke.

More Buzzerblog schedule news: come the first full week of January, The $25,000 Pyramid goes back to where they were when the show returned in March with the Markie Post/Charles Siebert week from Sept. 1985. I couldn't access the 12/27/09-1/3/10 sched because I got a "404 Error" in its place. I wanted to see if the Martha Smith/Robert Mandan week would continue.

Now MY GSN viewing is down to the occasional Combs Feud.

GSN should come to its senses and realize what a bunch of mistakes they're making at the moment. (FAT CHANCE!)

Cordially,
Tammy
In Loving Memory: Dolores "Roxanne" Rosedale (1929-2024), Peter Marshall (1926-2024), & Chuck Woolery (1941-2024)

They actually start one weekday sooner than that. The Smith/Mandan week does finish the week of December 28, and a single episode of the following week airs early 1/1 (as part of the 12/31 schedule). The Post/Siebert week starts on the 1/1 schedule. At least, that's what the .pdf said when I checked not too long ago, and the new one shows a Tuesday episoe on Monday, 1/4.

The problem with Ray Combs' Family Feud, according to someone on another forum, is that it suffers from "Middle Child Syndrome" (being that some people are too old to remember, yet others are too young).

Maybe it's "Goldilocks Syndrome" because for me (and I'd assume many people born in the 80's), the time frame is just right.

For me, the "Host Committed Suicide" syndrome casts a pall on the enterprise.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

I don't think that this tidbit can be underestimated. I loved watching Combs Feud when it was in first-run and I was 8 to 12 years old and have fond memories of watching it then. Now, I watch it, and the whole time I'm sub-conciously analyzing Combs for personality traits and whatnot. Makes it hard to enjoy the show.

The worst part of GSN right now is the awful Carnie Wilson Unplugged ads that air four times every hour.

Pretty sure it's more than four times an hour!

The ads would be much more bearable if they made more than just one. I could deal with cycling through three and four different ads instead of hearing the same thing over and over.
