this coming Wednesday, with original KSTP host Tom Ryther.  View and discuss old episodes and participate in a new game.

I'm going to try and be there, hopefully some other locals will be too.

They should try to do this in NYC - they'd have to bring back Larry Kenney, which should be a lot easier than trying to find Bob Murphy.

Wow! I remember Larry Kenney. He's very much around and would be great to see him again, instead of just hear him.

And I remember writing out a whole bunch of postcards to Channel 9.

tonight's event is SOLD OUT so thats a great sign!  Maybe other cities have venues similar that could take a look at the idea.

I handled audio, set design, and electronics. The original plan was to build the flats, with the sliding door. But, the venue was too small.

The event went decent. Thanks to everyone who made it out.

I was there and thought it terrific. Great job. And I'd say that even if my wife hadn't won Pabst tube socks. Well, maybe not. Loved the Jackpot board replica, loved the pin display. My only wish is that more scenes from another episode could have been shown, since I'd seen that one on You Tube.

I've posted a couple clips from the event on my youtube page.  I was in the second row, right in front of Tom so I had a fairly good spot.  He's aged but WOW does he have exactly the same voice.  Close your eyes and it's 1978 listening to him.

Thanks for the set compliments. Our builder did a good job, following my plans.

We had more footage, but there wasn't enough time.
