This used to be a joke behind the scenes at NBC; they're going to replace whatever game show with a cooking show. Well, joke no more. One wonders whether Mikey the R will be behind this Fremantle undertaking.

The joke was on NBC when they gave Emeril his own flop sitcom a few seasons back.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Honestly, I'm not fond of the idea, but I could see it working, given how popular Food Network is nowadays. As far as I know, Rachael Ray's daytime show is still pretty popular as well. My only thing is, how many housewives still stay at home to cook compared to say, 30 years ago?

That being said, I'd like to see someone besides Fremantle get some space on CBS's daytime schedule...better yet, this sounds like it works better on NBC's lineup, in-between their Today Show mornings.

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

As long as they are closer to the Can't Cook/Won't Cook route, I'm all for it - and as much as I'd prefer to see what I guess could be called a "conventional" game show - Pyramid > CC/WC > Chenbot.

Seriously, though, CC/WC was the right vehicle for Ainsley Harriot.  His Buena Vista talk show was the drizzles but he shined on CC/WC.  Same could be said for George Gray; hated him on Extreme Gong but once he did Weakest Link he was stellar.

I would rather see a non-game show than another Card Sharks 2001 or Match Game '98.
