Wasn't that one of the sketches cut from the Betty White extravaganza the other night?

My post was being sarcastic. Somebody suggested that Ed Cullen and Bill Cullen were the same person, and my mind recalled that Drew Carey was likened to "an overweight Bill Cullen" -- so the two joined hands around my brain and gave birth to that (admittedly horse-s***) idea.

Actually, that's an insult to the manure.

Quit while you're behind.  Ever occur to you that the post you were responding to might have also been sarcastic?

I didn't think so.

How much have you actually watched or read?

/And if your story was such an "insult to manure", why did you post it?

I never denied responsibility for that crappy post -- two sentences merged in my head and made a crappy idea which I made my fingers write.

Yes, I realize the grand phenomenon of Twilight (still think it's a dumb phenomenon, IMHO).
How much have you actually watched or read?
None, to be honest. No offense to those involved, but I'm just not into that sort of thing.

====

And I just want to clarify something -- Yes, I'm a geeky dweeby spaz. I'm not insane, nor am I mentally-handicapped in any way, but I am tired of everything I try to do or say getting blasted by people who, I'm sure, have never been called the heinous things I've been called online.

I'm online because it's genuinely the only escape from reality I have, and even that gets hampered because I know I can't reside within the internet...or anywhere exciting, period.

And I ponder my existence, too. I lie awake at night, wondering why I seem to have been "chosen" to be the first-person viewpoint of everything. My brain twists and turns at these thoughts, which I can't formulate into a coherent question because I don't know exactly what I'm trying to ask.

I try to have fun, but it seems that every time I do I get yelled at, or interrupted, or otherwise annoyed. That said, I'm not angsty and can't stand dark clothes.

*sigh*...Sorry for the rant, but I needed to get that off my chest. Ignore this, or chop it out, or whatever -- I don't really care anymore. I'm sorry, but that's how I feel.
It has to do with vampires and covens. I don't like that sort of thing, since it's connected to paganism (which I didn't really want to discuss here for fear of starting a flame war) and Satanic influences -- so none of it. And I'll be honest, I don't like any horror films for that exact same reason. No offense to the film-makers, but I'm just not into that sort of thing.
And we're not anywhere near Popcorn Friday. Dang.

I know next to nothing about Twilight, or Lost or all sorts of things. But I make an effort to have a ground-floor level understanding about them, because then I can do things like talk and listen to people, and integrate myself into a group, as opposed to "Oh, well, I've never heard that musical group, they must be rubbish." Everything may be worth ten points some day, but being able to connect with your fellow man is worth much more.

I once pondered if I was the star of some sort of Truman Show, too. Not so strange.

Well, let's see, you insult the series, then use your beliefs to look down on the genre. Honestly, I would've rather you said that you find it to be downright silly since you're not a teenage girl. I'm not into Twilight for demographic reasons, but to use religious beliefs as a reason is ridiculous and a bit narrow-minded.

I'm sorry...now's not the time to use your past for a sob story. I think you need to revisit your posting history to figure out why you've received so much contempt.

I do know a bit about Lost (plane mysteriously crashes, survivors try to live on a "deserted" unknown island, some weird time-travel stuff/island is alive/writers probably making this stuff up on the fly), but never watch ABC. I'm a huge fan of the British series Doctor Who, but I ran into trouble when trying to become a member of a Who fan-group (weird adjacent-universe stuff) -- I used a self-insert version of myself (which was not prohibited in the site rules), and got banned.

I don't know whether to be happy or sad at that, actually, knowing that others are in the same boat as I (but trust me, Travis, I'm very certain that you have never been called what I've been called).

I understand, Travis.

I never felt comfortable discussing certain subjects online -- religion and politics are the two most obvious, most sports comprise the third (I've never been interested in anything other than Golf and Bowling), and the fourth being the whole "names I've been called online" issue (mainly since I feel uncomfortable discussing this so much, but also because I'd likely be banned if I posted them on this relatively-family-friendly website).

/..."Slow the fashion of your roll"? Didn't Wheel Of Fortune use that for a Slang puzzle once?
//totally, seriously, have never heard of that metaphor.
