John Rook’s Hit Parade Radio Internet radio station has quietly folded for lack of funds. Wink Martindale was one of the on-air personalities.

First Instant Recall backfires, and now this. The Winkster's only bright spot this year was his Newlywed Game guest spot, unless that one has some reprocussions.....

Heck the fact that they name-dropped it in his introduction during said special shows they at least know it exists. Now, they'd just have to make sure they don't screw it up as bad as TTD '90

Wink had long been let go from Hit Parade Radio.  They let him go a few months before folding it.

It was a fluff piece of a game show, and Wink was brought on because he embodies the stereotype of the long-ago game show. They taped however many episodes and decided not to renew.
