Ha ha, very funny. You said "planning". There's no plan over there. It's all darts thrown at a dart board.
I'm a bit confused now - according to Rich's statement, he indicated that Mike would be holding an on-air audition search for a new announcer, but yet we have only heard of 3, who are said to be "rotating announcers".  So, does this mean these three will be the only announcers? And there will not just be one as we have been used to all these years?
I think it's way too early to be making conclusions based on vague press releases and second-hand information.  Not that this has ever stopped us before.

What are your thoughts on what would have happened had Rod Roddy still been the announcer.

Do you think he would have survived the axe or gone the same way as Rich?

But I'm *used* to things being the SAME. If things are going to CHANGE, I need to know about it well in advance so I can figure out how I'm going to cope.

JD Roberto doesn't sound to bad, from what I've heard so far, since he's been doing the voice-over for the "promotional consideration provided by..." plugs before the second showcase showdown. When I first heard him, he sounded a little like Paul Boland.

Heads up, our favorite leak "nanny" is hinting that there is yet another new executive producer... could Drew have gotten P.O.'d about Rich's ouster? Let the speculation begin!

JD Roberto - Brad Sherwood - Jeff Davis
