It really doesn't.

Which, if your radar detector was on, you would've realized was meant sarcastically. YMMV on whether it struck your funny bone or not. It's really not gonna affect me either way...

No need to be defensive. I didn't get the humor in the joke either, so I guess I need new batteries.

/BTW, I'm being sarcastic
//And I just got home from a comedy show, so I think my sense of humor's just fine

Many many many moons ago, Chuck Woolery was on "The Pat Sajak Show", Pat's short-lived talk show on CBS late night.  I distinctly remember Chuck mentioning the fact that he knew Vanna before Pat did.  I forget how they knew one another, but Chuck & Vanna did indeed know one another.

Sajak is cool, and I do not dislike him at all.  That being said, I still, some almost 30 years later, still think upon him as the "new" WOF host.  I think Chuck & Vanna together would have really been dynamite.  Chuck is really great, but I cannot help but wonder if he has ever kicked himself or had moments of deep regret that he left the show in December of '81, given how it's had a most amazing 27, soon to be 28 year run in syndication.

I think he does. On the last show of Scrabble in 1990, he wondered after one word (TOPSOIL) if he was the only thing leaving the network and not the show. "I kept telling them, "Look, find somebody else to do it, it'll be a huge hit--look what happened to Wheel!"."

Chuck's tenure on Wheel was also brought up a couple of times on Greed.
