I thought Wheel taped six at a time with episode 6 being generic so it can be placed together with other episode 6s in stand alone weeks.  Do they not do that anymore?
[/quote]

I think that's what the weeks known as "America's Game" are used for, where each day is the 6th show taped on any other given tape day.  This is why the sets are different each day on these weeks.

But there are only two "America's Game" weeks on the schedule this year.

Fascinating...

Gus, may I suggest you make a website to host these schedules, along with any past and future seasons you may or may not have? Click on a show title, get links to all the season schedules available on the site.

I'd hate to see this great thread eventually become forgotten, so that's my small suggestion. :-)

Let's make it real simple.  Bookmark this thread, Dan.  Or do a search for "schedules" and look for one started by Gus.

There are plenty of hosts, such as Angelfire, Webs, and Bravenet, that give you a lot of website space for free. I was referring to those, which I admit I should have made clear.

Guys, what about my question:

How is it that the 46th week of J!'s 27th season #6201-#6205? I thought only the first two seasons had 39 weeks, and every season after that had 46.

The first-season reruns were given new episode numbers.

Yes, that means Episode 6000 will not literally be the six-thousandth episode of the show. It is up to everyone here to decide how nuts they will be driven by that fact.

I doubt anybody would mind, then, if you went right ahead and did that for us yourself.

Or how about this: Get Microsoft Word, and just save all the data for yourself.

There, that wasn't so hard, was it?

I don't have the time or desire to start a website hosting this. Besides, it's not my data, it's the distributors'.

BTW, regarding what trainman said about the season 1 reruns of J! getting new episode numbers, I believe what happened was that after first-run S1 episodes aired from September 10, 1984-June 7, 1985, for whatever reason, they decided to count any S1 rerun from June-September 1985 as new episodes, and then premiere S2 during the second week of September 1985.

Yes, Dan, you may suggest it. And Gus basically told you why it isn't going to happen.
