The New York Daily News reports today:
Quote
A war of the roses has erupted on the upper East Side between a legendary TV producer and his ex-model wife, who says her 81-year-old hubby is an unfaithful "creep."

The marital mayhem between newlyweds Sandy and Brenda Frank was revealed after the warring couple was arrested for capping a shoutfest by bombarding each other with drinking glasses.

"You bet I'm divorcing him," Brenda Frank, 57, told the Daily News on Tuesday, her forehead bearing jagged scars from the glass police said Frank hurled at her.

This headline is better.

When I saw the difference in their ages, and the fact that she was originally a model, I figured she was a trophy wife who finally got sick of the old man.  Turns out these two have only been married for a few months.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

Although they're right about Name That Tune, I got a chuckle out of the article referring to Face The Music as a hit show...

I got a chuckle out of the picture, knowing that somewhere, somehow a plastic surgeon thought a scene out of Brazil or Ren & Stimpy would make a good blueprint for facelifts.

I wonder if Linda Donovan is around to sing Tammy Wynette's hit "D-I-V-O-R-C-E".

Since NTT is in play, you could always have the one on the right sing it for you.

The doctor & nurse in charge of Mr. Frank's plastic surgery declared it a complete success.

Well, played, sir!!  And I was looking for a perfect photo from the modern-day Phil Spector files to use, but nothing as good as that one!
