When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

I'm excited the show has been renewed, let alone in HD. I remember reading something about how using HD equipment was cost-prohibitive for TAR in the past...not anymore, I guess.

This season is turning out better than expected. No real "villain" teams to be had, but the fact that the tattooed couple are managing to stick around is really mindbending. I like the places they are visiting, too. The scenery in St. Petersburg is something.

That's only because they went to the nice parts of St. Petersburg.  I'm sure there are still a lot of crappy Brezhnev-era concrete apartment blocks on the outskirts of town.  :-)

Actually, what I've read is a little ambiguous as to when it will be HD. "Next year" is all I've seen from CBS and that could either mean the season which begins in Jan/Feb (TAR 18) or the season which begins next season (TAR 19).

I do think that HD will be a very nice addition and will show off some of the beautiful places they visit.

And to make it even more obvious when the teams walk right past the thing they're supposed to be looking for.

I think they don't hear the rattlesnake sound in reality as that's added in post.
