MTV Remote Control Makes A Comeback

I was walking through the mall today when something caught my eye:

This struck me as funny, but I know that the 80's are in now.
Maybe if a whole bunch of people are seen wearing these, re-runs will surface

Of course, a lot of people were wearing "Fat Albert" shirts the last couple of years, and all we got out of that were the Christmas and Halloween specials on TV -- nothing else.

    Remote Control was seen in I Love the 80s Strike Back on VH1...would Adam Sandler (or Colin Quinn for that matter) agree to let them be seen again now that he's famous?

I believe that they would have nothing to say about it--unless they didn't get their residual checks.  The contracts probably stated that MTV Networks could use their appearances any way they wanted as long as they were paid residuals for any airing of an entire program or of a clip longer than two minutes.

Besides, with Time Warner selling their half of Comedy Central, Quinn's an MTV Networks employee--you think he's going to jeopardize his job over possible airing of reruns?  He'd probably be more worried about Disney exhuming episodes of "2 Hip 4 TV."
