Amazing stuff!  Does anyone know which cues Barker supposedly had banned as they were too closely associated with furs?

It's well worth the $50 membership.  I purchased mine yesterday.  Reel 3 of the TPIR Cues (1976) is coming close to being placed in the Vault.

I dunno how much stock I put into Levinsky as the composer of that package... I'm sure as a Score employee at the time he contributed, but in just listening to the 1976 package, you can tell it was written by several different people.

Or one guy who's totally awesome!

Nah, I suppose I jumped the gun.  Still would be interesting to find out who wrote what.  Any good authors want to do some research and pen a tell-all book?

So, are these names "official" names from Score?  The first I ever recall seeing these names was on Brian's fabulous 80s Theme SuperSite.  Did the TVPMM just use the names since they have been floating in cyberspace since 1997?  And there are the difference - Tackless vs. Tachlen (which Brian has ?? next to on his site) and Robt vs. Robert (which could just be a typo or abbreviation on the TVPMM).

I believe Brian's source for most of the cues on his site (at least the "named" ones) was a vinyl demo put out by Score, and that's where the names come from. At least that's what I recall reading somewhere online years ago.

Nothing new in there [just relocated from the public section], but I also notice the "Whew!" link has been removed from the top of the page.

"Uh oh" may be right...........

There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

I think he meant one tune, the main FF theme.

I'd just like to say this about having pristine versions of this material available: "Spring Waltz" makes me happier than any other piece of music I can name.

No, Terry claims the whole 76 Price package was by Levinsky.

Why don't you think Levinsky wrote it all? Too many disparate styles?

Yeah.  Not saying it's impossible, just not totally sure I believe he wrote all of it.
