The local ABC station broke in during Millionaire today after the contestant finished round one in segment one. While I've always been a proponent of not complaining about local station coverage during severe weather, couldn't they have just waited a couple more minutes? ;)

You just complained. Hypocritical.

Severe weather trumps game show. Everytime.

WPXI cut into the major part in Millionaire before Chad's ABC station did.  What did they do?  Show a weatherman dithering in front of the green screen.

Granted, they went back and the cut-in did eventually happen, but they lost my vote for the local Emmy right there. :P

So nobody has a heart attack when weather, debates or a slow speed car chase interrupts your show, please refer to this to find out what happened on your favorite show:

The Price is Right: Somebody bid a dollar
Wheel of Fortune: Somebody hit bankrupt
Jeopardy: Alex said an question nobody got right twice
Don't Forget the Lyrics: The audience was 90% paid and over-caffeinated
5th Grader: Jeff Foxworthy wore jeans
Family Feud: Somebody said "good answer", even though it wasn't
Millionaire: The jump lifeline was used

--Mike, who was in an hour long meeting today to go through all of the eventualities of the storm (power outage, tornado, building damage), only to be in the 15 mile band where there was no severe weather

One station here broke in and stayed on the air the entire time (something like 9-10:50), preempting Deal (OMGWTFTVCHUCKER).

One station broke in every 20 minutes or so for a few minutes.

/In the other 15 mile band of no severe weather.

Well, at least you won't have to worry about WKRC preempting TPiR for a Bengals Super Bowl victory anytime in the near future.

Brian, you've learned nothing in the last two three four six seven lost count years, have you?

I  was only here to report the fact that TPIR got preempted here, and Wheel and J! would air until  later due to a debate. (I hardly post here anymore.)

I'd like to think by this point my reputation (and maybe the smiley?) would let one think I'm not freaking out about missing twenty minutes of a TV show, especially in the digital age.

As it turned out, the weather was a non-story locally in my area (same area as Chad's), but at least they warned us enough to hunker down in our safe place most of the day.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

FWIW, and I say this well aware that we don't see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, I knew you were being facetious with the initial comment.
