Game Shows on Facebook

I have to say I'm amused by the people that play the TPiR Facebook game.  In a game this afternoon, a contestant 1-upped another person and won.  The person that got 1-upped started complaining.  I responded with the Herm Edwards. Someone commented that I "had no soul".  I further commented that "I would one-up my own mother to win".  I got another "you have no soul" comment.  I responded with a line I won't use here.

Seriously though...its a competition.  If they were on the show, would they expect the same treatment?  Its amusing and annoying at the same time.

All you did was one-up someone and they bitched about it!?!?

I'd hate to see what they do to those who have all the prices memorized and consistently nail the one-bids!

/The TPiR Facebook game was fun to play until "The Memorizers" came in.

I played "Price" for about one week on Facebook and quickly learned to hate it. In one week, I got up on stage exactly 0 times and wound up getting in the showcase only once, which I lost.

I stopped playing Price due to all of the cheaters.  I wish they'd just randomize the price a little bit (ie. if it's an $800 product, have the price be different each time between $790 and $810, for example) to throw off the cheaters.  I still play Wheel nearly daily, and haven't played Feud in a while, but not for any specific reason.

My partner and I are developing a game for Facebook called "Captured." This a new format that I hope will eventually take off. You can read developments about this game here: Captured Facebook game.

We're looking at a tentative release date of early February.
