First up at #12 is Greed...so what's the REAL list? Does anyone have it? Will we actually *see* Bullseye?

If I remember correctly, There was a "TBA" show at #6 on the schedule that GSN posted up accidentally a short while ago.  Let's hope it (Bullseye) is there, that is if that's the schedule that in use.  If not, well, they'll be a considerable amount of egg on my face...

EDIT:  The accidental posted FoF schedule I'm thinking of is this one...

12: Greed
11: Russian Roulette
10: Lets Make a Deal
9: Millionaire
8: Press Your Luck
7: The Joker's Wild
6: TBA
5: Friend or Foe?
4: Family Feud
3: Whammy!
2: Lingo
1: Match Game

I would think that, if they're showing the first "Daniel winds up going for $2.2 mil" episode, they'd have to show the second where Curtis and Melissa beg out after winning the million.

Well, maybe not, now that I see the schedule. I guess winning the million is a good place to stop.

This is the first. The 12-hour marathon started at noon and the schedule on GSN.com shows Russian Roulette at 1 p.m.

No, I meant is this the second episode of Greed, i.e. the one that aired the following week after the premiere on FOX.

I'm guessing the only thing wrong about the press release was Card Sharks and that the order on the online schedule from before was pretty accurate (despite the excuse soon following). Seems GSN fumbled the proverbial ball on this one...

Looking at the Program Guide on GSN's website - it's now completely filled in - the #6 spot is Bullseye - and the original list they posted seems to be correct.

That is, unless, they are tricking us even more.

First, let me update this thing... (Thanks to wxfrcaster's recently posted info.)

12: Greed
11: Russian Roulette
10: Lets Make a Deal
9: Millionaire
8: Press Your Luck
7: The Joker's Wild
6: Bullseye
5: Friend or Foe?
4: Family Feud
3: Whammy!
2: Lingo
1: Match Game

Secondly, Russian Roulette is #11, so the mentioned lineup above is looking more like the correct one...  Wonder what eps. of LMAD are going to be shown in the #10 spot...

So this press release...

http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/031121/laf001_1.html

...was a lie?  I guess I can see trying to throw fans off the trail, but to release an official press announcement with information you know is wrong seems a mighty peculiar thing to do.  Unless you're Enron or something.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

As far as what made the cut? Yes.

EDIT: Now looking a bit more at the release, If the lineup is right (the one posted on GSN.com) I guess they only messed up on one show. (Pending that #6 is Bullseye.)

I was thinking that myself.  Why would GSN fib around with an official press release?  Who knows, I guess there could be a possibility that a mistake (or possibly two) was made.

Glaring error, yes. Lie, no. Not when they were just wrong about Card Sharks, as I just said...

Like, how cool is this. Really. I don't even care what eps are running of TJW and Bullseye...who would have thought a couple years ago that three successive hours of GSN would be the Larsen PYLs, two great episodes of Joker, then two more of Bullseye? How long has it been since two hours of B&E shows have aired back to back on GSN?

March 2001 when GSN aired the last eight episodes of the Million Dollar TJW TofC from 1980(the last two of those episodes aired on last year's Feast)
