Just a few weeks after someone here asked why "Celebrity Bowling" hasn't been rerun, Retro TV says it has picked up the show. It was in a list with some other shows ("The Saint," "Route 66," "Movin' On," "The New Zorro" and "Comedy Shop" with Norm Crosby). But no indication on when it will start or what the air times will be.

Retro TV is a digital subchannel with generally grade-B or C reruns.

It's cool that Retro TV is picking up Celebrity Bowling, but wasn't it some other Celebrity Almost-A-Sport show that we were wondering about?  Celebrity Bowling has been airing on ESPN Classic for the last few months.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

The excellent Celebrity Bowling, to boot.  Great show.
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

Cool; where did you see the list? I watch RTV quite a bit and am curious about this

It was probably from the scantest of press releases that I saw on an industry site. It was basically "Here are RTV's new shows," with no other info.

RTV adds more classic TV to it's lineup

Unfortunately the press release doesn't necessarily mean those shows will be available in your local area as the schedules are set by whoever distributes the local RTV affiliate.
