Merv's Men to Receive Lifetime Acheivement Award
« on: March 22, 2011, 03:03:20 PM »
The official website of Jeopardy! posted a neat announcement today, an excerpt of which is below:

New York -- March 21, 2011 -- The National Academy of Television Arts  & Sciences (NATAS) today announced that the 38th Annual Daytime  Entertainment Emmy® Awards Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented  to game show hosts Pat Sajak of Wheel of Fortune and Alex Trebek of Jeopardy!.   The Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards will be broadcast live from Las  Vegas on June 19th, 2011 on the CBS Television Network.

Sajak has been hosting Wheel since 1981 and the syndicated version since 1983. Trebek has been the quizmaster of Jeopardy! since 1984. Both programs still rank as the #1 and #2 nationally syndicated programs.

I read the title of this post and wondered what Deney Terrio did to deserve such an honor.

We need a 'like' button.

Invision does offer a "Vote this post up/down" option (the little green +/red - buttons), but I presume you've turned off those options because when I tried to click on one it said I'd reached my quota of votes for the day.

(A cursory image search didn't reveal anything like Staples' "easy" button, only reading "like" instead.)

Yeah, because there are several members whose posts would have vote counts in the negative hundreds.

There was a different version of Wheel?
