My predictions:

Best GS: I don't see Cash Cab winning four in a row, and J! and Wheel may cancel each other out seeing that Pat and Alex are getting the Lifetime Achievement Award. This is Price's most solid year since Drew took over, and I could see it finally winning its first Best GS Emmy of the new era this year.

Best GS Host: I'm surprised that this is Todd's first nomination, cause I remember him being pretty good on Hollywood Showdown. But I think he's hitting his stride with Family Game Night- a solid second season gets him the award next year. I think that the problems with LMaD and its lack of variety (Even after two years, I still don't think it's best as an hour show) could hurt Wayne's chances. But I think he's been a good enough host to win. I think it's either him or Todd.

On the other hand, I could be totally wrong and Cash Cab gets the double win for the second year in a row.
Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.

My money is also on Todd Newton, this year's underdog. Otherwise, expect a repeat of last year.....

Cordially,
Tammy

P.S. Even with Steve Harvey, Feud STILL can't get arrested, Emmy-wise.

Carol Wayne longshot odds say Tammy's using something that has auto-correct on it.

/However, it still deserves this

Perhaps, but that's no excuse not to proofread before posting.

Especially since Meredith's surname is spelled correctly every day in the credits.

For the first time since 1980, two shows were tied for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Show: Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! This is Wheel's first win in its 36 years on the air and Jeopardy!'s 12th. Both shows, as we know, are produced by Harry Friedman.
Ben Bailey takes home his second Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host in a row for his duties on Cash Cab.

I wonder if Alex & Pat's Lifetime Achievement Awards played a part in that happening?

Perhaps.  I wonder if Cash Cab will submit Beth Melewski next year as well as Ben Bailey, or does each show get one host nominee per emmy year?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

The Daytime Emmys.....Two to three hours that you'll never get back.....that is, if you chose the wrong nominee to win.

And I was SO SURE Todd would be victorious last night!

If the show wasn't worth watching unless the nominee of your choice won....then the show wasn't worth watching, period.

One might also make the argument that the Daytime Emmys aren't worth watching anyway, considering how things have been changing lately.
