Betty White plays Password w/ Fallon

They staged a recreation of the original Password on the Fallon show last night, with Betty and Jimmy as the celebrities, playing with what seemed to be people out of the audience.  Steve Higgins took the Allen Ludden spot.
I enjoyed it a lot.

(The point scoring was off a little, but so what?)

Frankfurter! What a difficult word. Can't think of how to get it in one, let alone after a pass.

Bea Benaderet has the perfect clues for "Frankfurter."

When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

The only thing that is coming to me right now is to say "Curry" in an extremely flamboyant and effeminate way, in the hopes that my partner is a Rocky Horror fan, but I'll be the first person to admit that that's quite a reach.

Beyond something out of left field like that, though, yeah, that's a bouncer.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

What if one were to try "Kentucky" after a couple of clues; hoping they could draw the connection between "Sausage" and "Frankfort"?

Mitch's original comment was pondering how to do it in a single clue. I don't think there's a lot of necessity to "try" anything if you've got three to play with.
