The Great Board Game Giveaway

As many of my friends may know, I have a huge board game collection--at last count, I have 238 altogether. Sadly, the time has come for me to consolidate. I just moved to a new place, and there's no longer enough room to hold all the awesome power contained within these games.

So I'm doing what any friend would do: I'm giving away a bunch of my board games to some lucky people every day for the next month as part of what I'm now calling "Chris Carrion's Great Game Giveaway™"!

Here's how it's going to work:

- Every day starting Wednesday 8/25, I'm going to post a trivia question as a status update on my personal Facebook page (facebook.com/chriscarrion). I'll try to make it around the same time every day--for now, we'll say between 5 and 8pm.

- I'll also post a picture of the board game you can win that day. It could be anything, from Jeopardy to Don't Wake Daddy.

- Once I post the question, the first commenter with the right answer wins the game!

- As a neat little bonus, I'll also include a cute little handwritten note, explaining how I got the game, when it's been played, and anything else interesting about it--because every board game has a story.

Simple as that! I've never tried anything like this before, and I really think it's going to be a lot of fun. So if I'm not Facebook friends with you, send me a friend request and you're ready to play!

Couple more details:

- If you live close enough (I'm in West Haven, CT), feel free to come pick your prize up! If you're from afar, I'll just need for you to pay the shipping cost (5 or 6 bucks, and I accept Paypal).

- There's a one-win limit per person. I want everyone who participates to have a fair shot. And if you really want as many board games as I have, you're crazier than I am.

So there it is! Let's make history! Good luck!

I just copied and pasted from the Facebook event page. I knew I should have deleted that for this forum. ;)

Ah, yes, THAT makes a lot more sense.  For a moment there, I thought you forgot who you were dealing with.

Meanwhile, back of the line, all of you.

I now realize I misunderstood, which has been happening a lot this week for some reason.  I thought you were just talking about a game show home game collection.  I am willing to conceed that many of you probably have a larger board game collection overall than I do.
