/You see what I did there?
Honestly? I don't have the first idea what you did there, or how it pertains to that particular Blondie strip.

Because I had second thoughts about having posted it after having seen the reply.  It seemed like a better idea to me than it actually was.

The real question is, What do you suppose Dagwood thinks of the "Subway, Eat Fresh" incident?

That explains why I've had such a craving for ginormous sandwiches lately!

Ha!  I didn't even make the Subway/sandwich connection. Well played.

For those of you who don't read the Comics Curmudgeon (and gosh, don't you think you oughta?) here's Josh's take (last item in the post).

And after seeing it, I'd agree even more about Dagwood being a member....not that I've ever seen behavior like that on this board, No, no no no.

My girlfriend even showed me this on her own and said "I bet that guy exists, and I further bet you know him."

All I could do was hang my head.

Got to admit, with all his faults, Dagwood did manage to get a hott blonde to marry him.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

There's actually a crazy background to that which has more or less been lost to history.  Blondie was originally 'Blondie Boopadoop', a sexy dancer, and in the early years of the strip Dagwood was just her boyfriend.  Dagwood's father was loaded, but when the young lovers got married, dad cut him off completely, forcing him to get a job and creating the middle-class family setting they've been stuck in ever since.  (In real years, their teenage son is 77.)
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

How old's Daisy, the dog?  (Gotta be at least 539 by now.)

But she doesn't look a day over 450.

This site says Daisy would be 321.  That's one old bitch.
