I once heard a high-placed person say it would cost one million dollars to take TPIR to New York, exclusive of "people and prizes". They'd have to sell an awful lot of mobility scooters and diabeetus testers to cover that, and that's in addition to their regular expenses (above-the-line salaries, etc).
