"Blockbusters" Rules
« on: October 31, 2011, 01:17:08 AM »
I have what might be an odd request. I'm presently on the hunt for a copy of the rules to the "Blockbusters" home game that was released by Milton Bradley in 198...1-2? I've tried to look for it online, but much like the Miami Dolphins, I failed to prevail. If anyone here knows how I can obtain these rules, please feel free to let me know. I'm aware that this is a longshot, but at least I can't say that I didn't try.

Thanks!

Was it really that difficult?   I mean, really?

That took maybe 45 seconds tops to look up. A simple Google would have sufficed.

Anyway, only difference from the TV show is that due to the existence of only one  Gold Run/Rush board the bonus game uses single letter responses.

Well, he said a copy of the rules, which I'm guessing means a physical copy for his own personal use. He also said he looked, which could just mean he didn't have the proper search keywords. I don't really think all the snark is necessary.

If the original poster meant the rules of the board game in general, which I interpreted the post to mean, then I stand by my snark. It's a simple Google for the words in the original post.

If the original poster meant an actual physical copy of the rules sheet, then I do humbly apologize for my misinterpretation. I read the post one way, and you're right, it's perfectly possible he meant the actual paper rulesheet. I don't typically collect board games but I'd be happy to keep an eye out for one as a spare, for parts, etc.

This was how I interpreted the post. I think he's looking for a scan of the rulesheet, possibly to complete a set he got at a thrift store or something.

If you're looking for a physical copy of the rules/questions, try Matt Ottinger.

Indeed.  If the original poster will send me a personal message or an e-mail to ottinger@acd.net, I'll be happy to scan the rules for him when I get home tonight.

10 points to the first person to create a meme using "Matt Ottinger" and "Pimp".

It's a service I'm happy to provide.

The rule copying, not the pimping.

After holding out for 50 points, which Kevin reluctantly approved, I got this.
