Last night I saw Charles Fox in person!  He did a lecture-slash-concert where he described his music.  For game shows, he played the signature What's My Line theme ("da-da DA DAW") on the piano.

Looking at his picture, I'd swear he's Matt Ottinger's not-as-handsome twin brother.

/What do you mean the mods don't pay by the post?
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

("da-da DA DAW")
For the record, this never works as well as the person typing the syllables thinks it works.

But far more talented.  Mom always liked him best.

This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

What? You mean when I type "do do-do-do-do dododododo do dododododooooo" you don't instantly think of Go?

I for one was reminded of what I have to do between work and game night. But that's just me.

What sequence of syllables would make me think of Match Game '73?

I think we've got a game show idea here!

OK, what show (hint: not a game show) would these syllables represent?

"tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-tik-..."
This isn't a plug, but you can ask me about my book.

This was in Rockville, MD, as part of a book festival at the Jewish Community Center. We got a copy of his book and had it signed.
