The show is premiering on December 19. It seems to be a remake of "Russian Roulette" with losers falling through the floor. Just saw a promo on the NBC Macy's broadcast.

Why do I have a vision in my head of Elton John singing the theme song?

I remember seeing a clip on Facebook a few months ago and it seemed fun and refreshing (read: it didn't follow the stereotypical format so many other shows have used for the last 5 years). I'm glad to see it's finally getting a timeslot, and wish it the best.

"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

It took me a minute to get the Elton reference, and I have most of music.

I'm also glad this show gets to see the light of day. I like Ben on Cash Cab. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

This board's search function is pretty good if it can find future postings.

Fair enough; I stand corrected and humbled.

That's okay Nick.  We can both delete and no one will be the wiser!

Grand Slam meets That's The Question and Russian Roulette. I'm on the plus side. For now. Ben Bailey certainly is a plus too.

Just saw a quick promo during the only NBC show where promos might draw viewers, Sunday Night Football.  The set looks exactly like Russian Roulette.

Well, heck, it's been 8-1/2 years; the majority of the people who will compare the two are reading this.  Do you think most of the country saw Press Your Luck and jumped up screaming, "That's the same show Jim Peck used to host, except they didn't have the whammies!"?

Probably, since there weren't quite as many channels in existence during Second Chance's run, and Russian Roulette didn't appear on network TV.  I'd be willing to bet there were more than a handful of people with deja vu when PYL premiered.

Probably
<Dick Clark> Read it! </DC>

The show ran for 18 weeks. I assure you, most of the country didn't even know it existed...or else it would have run longer than 18 weeks.
